Top Ten Things I Hate About Being Pregnant
10. The thought of my vagina never being the same again.
9. Restless Turtle Syndrome (see my previous post) Essentially not being able to get off my back in the middle of the night
8. Headbutts to the bladder 5 minutes after I’ve gone to the bathroom causing me to dash out of the room
7. So many bodily fluids. At least with your period it’s 4-5 days a month, not dripping like a faucet daily
6. The Jeckyll and Hyde mood swings make my normal bipolar issues seem like a day in the park
5. Breaking a sweat pulling up my maternity jeans or trying to put on my shoes
4. Cankles, sausage fingers, and baby butts in my rib cage
3. Feeling like an alien is going to rip out of my stomach and start singing and tap dancing across the counter (I’ve seen Spaceballs too many times)
2. People’s need to give me unsolicited advice on pregnancy, childbirth, and child raising
1. The complete lack of Sushi, Cold Cuts, Beer, Wine, Sriracha and Xanax in my life

1. Feeling the baby move
Yep, I’m officially one of those moms who clearly does not enjoy pregnancy. Maybe, if there is a second time, I might get to enjoy. But for now, I’m completely over it. 8 more weeks to go….

I felt the exact same way when I was pregnant. Believe it or not after my son was born in November, I can’t wait to get pregnant again. I miss it. Yes, feeling like a rhino as I walk down the street (the heavy breathing, stomping, and wide stride) is something I wouldn’t necessarily look forward to, but I miss feeling so connected to someone I created. I miss feeling the movement and know it wasn’t just “gas”. I miss having the good excuse to wear sun dresses even though it’s 50 degrees out side (plus, with the added weight I was never cold). Good luck with your next few weeks, it will go by fast.
That’s OK. I didn’t like anything about pregnancy either, other than feeling the baby! At least I was honest about it. Some women LOVE every minute of pregnancy. They are sick, sick, women!!
. Maybe I’m just jealous of them.
I’ve had a pretty decent pregnancy. I’m glad that it is almost over, but I could easily do it again.
Worst thing for me was that I hate asking for help. I had to get my husband to put my shoes on the other day and it put me in a sour mood for the rest of the morning. I want to be able to take the garbage out, but I’m not allow to lift. UGH!!!
